||EDUCATION IN SCIENCE IN NON-FORMAL SPACES: SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL, COMMUNICATIONAL AND MUSEOLOGICAL APPROACHES USED IN THE EDUCATIONAL PRAXIS |

ABSTRACT: This project is part of the research topic Education in Sciences, Scientific Divulgation and Non-Formal Spaces, which has as its purpose the exploration of alternatives of teaching and learning sciences in non-formal spaces, in order to stimulate the interest and motivation of teachers and students who seek the formation and construction of citizenship in science. The project presented here aims to analyze the scientific, educational, communication and museological approaches used in the educational praxis in non-formal spaces, with biodiversity as the central theme, specifically the Amazon. For this purpose a bibliographical survey will be done and the theoretical foundations of the research will be elaborated. Next, the schools and those in charge of administering the non-formal spaces will be contacted in order to socialize the project. The elaboration and application of methodological itineraries will be carried out based on the research objectives. Through this project it is hoped to provide essential subsidies for the development of actions in the field of non-formal education in sciences, thus contributing to scientific literacy of teachers and students of the public network.

ABSTRACT: The present study aims to investigate the cognitive, affective and social aspects that hinder or stimulate learning in science education processes in the Amazon. It is a project that has articulated and hosted the subprojects of students of the academic Master´s degree in Science Education focused on the study of indigenous children in Manaus. The methodological course will be based on a quantitative approach, encompassing diverse techniques and research instruments in line with the subprojects of the students.

ABSTRACT: The present project, via a survey and analysis, will focus on discourses of knowledge transmission, taken from scientific journals with circulation in the state of Amazonas. They will be analyzed according to the conditions of production, reception and circulation, with the aim of verifying, from the relationship editor / author-reader, what each type of publication supposes and, thus, make visible the presuppositions that confer the characteristic specificity of each of these publications. We also intend to verify the differences of each of the sources of scientific divulgation to understand the possibilities and limits of each type of discourse.

ABSTRACT: Research proposal whose central problem is to build a status of scientific dissemination in the city of Manaus, specifically from its reshaping in graduate programs in the conventional areas of science. This will be developed over a period of three years in three major phases: the first will consist of a bibliographical survey on the key concepts of the problem, in order to more precisely define the focus of the research, for the subsequent construction of the theoretical foundation. The second phase will correspond to the necessary basis for the construction of a consistent course, as well as the precise definition of the application of the techniques and instruments of research. The third phase will correspond to the systematization of the data obtained from the applied techniques and research instruments, which will generate the status to be consolidated: main purpose of the research. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the new possibilities of socialization of scientific knowledge to emerge, increasingly bringing together the other social segments of scientific knowledge.

ABSTRACT: The present study aims to investigate the cognitive, affective and social aspects that hinder or stimulate learning in science education processes in the Amazonas state. For this, a mapping of the public network will be carried out at the different levels of education (Primary, Middle and Higher). It is a network project that will articulate and host the projects of the students of the Masters Degree in Science Education and the Doctorate of the Amazon Network in Science Teaching (REAMEC), thus seeking unity in diversity. The methodological course will be based on a quantitative approach, encompassing several techniques and research instruments in line with the subprojects of the students. The results should converge to construct a diagnosis that highlights what drives and hinders learning in science education processes, in the cognitive, affective and social spheres, opening space for new researches and subsidizing those who work in the educational process of significant data, guiding factors.
||REPRESENTATIONS OF SCIENCE IN NARRATIVES OF SCIENCE TEACHERS AS MULTIPLE POSSIBILITIES OF LEGITIMATION OF THE CURRICULUM IN THE AMAZON CONTEXT |

ABSTRACT: Integrated research project, to be fed from subprojects, which will be developed by teachers in initial training processes (undergraduate students in Chemistry, Biology and Physics of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas - IFAM), and continuing education (Students from the Master´s Degree course in Science Education and Doctoral students of the PhD in Science and Mathematics Education of the Amazonian Network in Science Teaching REAMEC). Its general objective is to understand how science teachers represent science in their narratives, specifically in situations resulting from the continuous, initial and continuous formation of teachers, in the condition of multiple possibilities of legitimizing the curriculum. It has emerged from findings from undergraduate courses in conventional areas of science, in which the multiple perspectives that legitimize the official curriculum, especially those outlined in pedagogical projects and, therefore, reflected in the actions carried out in daily life, which make it clear that the dichotomy between specific knowledge of the area of formation and pedagogical knowledge contribute significantly to the fragility both in the understanding and in the apprehension of Science in the process of knowledge construction. The investigative course will be consolidated from three phases, which are: Systematization of the integrated project and the research subprojects; Basis, to support the theoretical basis of the subprojects; Preparation and application of methodological itineraries.

ABSTRACT: Research is carried out in four phases: phase one refers to research focused on a hermeneutic perspective, understood as an interpretative exercise of available information that enables us to build the bases of what we call Neuropedagogy, as a new concept that allows us to make it possible to think about new teaching processes and teacher training based on the knowledge of the central nervous system; phase two refers to the elaboration of processes / products that constitute elements of the reasoning drawn by the synthesis of the readings carried out, in order to form the bases for a didactics of the sciences; phase three consists of applying the processes / products elaborated in the previous phase to real spaces and concrete teaching situations; phase four, which is carried out simultaneously with phase three, is the evaluation of the application of the didactic processes / products elaborated previously based on the structure of brain functioning, investigated by Neurosciences, Cognitive Sciences and Philosophy of Mind. This is basic and applied technological research in the area of teacher training, science teaching and Science Education that takes neurosciences, cognitive sciences and philosophy of mind as structuring epistemologies to elaborate the theoretical-practical foundations of Neuropedagogy, assumed as a new condition to think about and propose teaching and teacher training processes that seek to meet a totally new context in the field of Pedagogy applied to Scientific Education.

This is a transdisciplinary intersection articulated between the cognitive processes operated in the central nervous system by the activities of knowledge mobilized by the need to elaborate and understand concepts that translate the scientific representation of the world as a perception of the reality assumed as a way of interpreting, acting and situating in the world as a human being committed to science as a culture that enables him to become a surrogate of the conditions of inequalities marked by exploitation. The proposed design deals with the mental / cerebral / cognitive processes of learning and its demands on the teaching processes. This means that there is no way to think of products used for teaching without considering brain processes as a condition for the enhancement of learning, intelligence, memory, reflection, perception and observation. This is drawn from the perspective that the achievements of these sciences enable us to develop innovative processes / products that directly affect the pedagogical practices of teacher education, Science Teaching and Scientific Education.

ABSTRACT: The difficulties presented in both the training and the updating of students´ knowledge in Physics and Mathematics is a difficulty that is not only faced in Brazil as in most countries around the world. Thus, the need to research this problem and find solutions that allow it to be confronted and solved in some measure using innovative alternatives is something so obvious that no arguments are needed to justify such a project. Nevertheless, it would be enough to analyze the great losses occasioned to the national education system that consequently generates a loss of time to the young people who spend years of their life without any gains. On the other hand, raising the scientific level of graduates is undoubtedly one of the essential activities today. Therefore, the intention of this project is the problem: How is the teaching of Physics and Mathematics in Amazonas, from the following variables: the use of technologies to teach Physics, the scientific dissemination of research on the teaching of Physics and also the sense that high school and undergraduate students, providing scientific education for citizenship? To carry out an analysis in the teaching of these sciences and making proposals in the schools would allow us to raise the scientific methodological level of the researchers and adapt the teaching-learning process to the real needs of the state of Amazonas.

The Amazon has become an important and promising region in this millennium that has potential and attracts great researchers from all over the world due to its biodiversity and natural resources. The important aspects from the point of view of research are biodiversity, energy, water resources, food, minerals, environmental preservation, culturality and sustainability. The need for the technological resources for Physics and Mathematics classes becomes relevant for the teachers to teach abstract contents and to motivate the process of teaching and learning. The Amazon has peculiarities deriving from its geographical location, which may be one of the problems that directly affects the quality of teaching that is provided in the classrooms of the schools in the municipalities. Knowing these problems is fundamental so that strategies can be developed to improve the quality of life of communities and their local sustainability through scientific education in the teaching of Physics and Mathematics and, through them, make innovative proposals in schools of the city of Manaus.
